Darren Barnet Diet – Never Got A Star’s Food Advice

I have never Star Darren Barnet eats like all of us, when and what he wants. There is no diet or diet. No fixed time either. Whenever he’s hungry, he gets straight to the point. Talk about intuition, eh? In the latest edition of Eat like, Barnet spoke with Men’s health and revealed his daily eating habits.

Sometimes this star’s breakfast doesn’t start until one in the afternoon. (It’s really brunch right now, TBH). His “breakfast” consists of simple additions: multigrain avocado toast and poached eggs with onions, spinach and cayenne peppers. His choice of drink? Orange juice and coffee.

Lunch is where Barnet really spices him up – he’s a cultured food enthusiast. “I love Mexican food,” he says. “I love Japanese cuisine. Lots of sushi. But, surprisingly, this love of cultured take-out isn’t his greatest culinary secret. What? Sardines.

“Some people find it disgusting, but I’m telling you, don’t hit it until you’ve tried it: I love sardines,” he admits. “I’m going to sprinkle them with lemon, put them in a pan with oregano, basil, [and] cover it with a little cayenne pepper [and] chilli flakes.

Then, he’ll lay the cooked small fish on a bed of rice – white or brown it doesn’t matter – with a side of kimchi. Not only is it tasty, he says, but it’s also great for the body, full of protein, and has wonderful health properties.

As for dinner, Barnet keeps it simple: protein pasta with beans and chicken. You would think he was deliberately trying to gain muscle, but that is (sort of) not the case. He just listens to his body. “If I’m trying to build muscle, I just listen to my body,” he says. “I eat when I’m hungry. I never try to overload myself.

His cheat days are pretty standard too. Aside from occasionally munching on an entire box of pizza (all by himself, mind you), he loves to eat In-N-Out burgers. “Fast food can sometimes be an Achilles heel,” he says.

Darren, you are right.
