Chael Sonnen thought Arnold Schwarzenegger would have done well in MMA

TMZ questioned Chael Sonnen about what would have happened if Arnold Schwarzenegger had entered the mixed martial arts. “Hypothetical question. How do you think Schwarzenegger would fare in MMA at its peak?”, asked TMZ.

The answer was obvious as Sonnen thought “The Terminator” would have been a champion. “You know, he’d probably do pretty well,” he has answered“He never failed at anything, did he. Moreover, he said“I imagine if he had gotten into MMA, he probably would have been a champion.”

At his peak, Schwarzenegger weighed around 250 pounds, which would have made him a heavyweight contender. However, this was against the norm, as bodybuilders did not do well in MMA.
