The big three

The Legion Sports Fest 2021 was an exhilarating event for bodybuilding fans. The top three in the category each brought warmth in their own way, delivering exceptional performances on stage.

Shaun clarida

Clarida announced on Instagram over the weekend that her onstage weight was 174.6 pounds. At 5’2 ” he was clearly the shortest man in the roster. However, his round muscular bellies and incredible definition helped him secure the victory.

Clarida maintained a sculptural presence on stage even when not in front and center, flexing her muscles and appearing confident. As he won both scoring rounds, the stage presence clearly paid off.

Clarida is now in a unique position as she qualified for the Mr. Olympia 2022 competition in two divisions. He can enter the Men’s 212, his normal category, or he can compete in the Open. The New Jersey native will have to make a decision before the biggest bodybuilding show kicks off in December 2022.

Regan grimes

Grimes started working with coach Milos Sarcev after his 15th place finish at Mr. Olympia 2021, and the change seems to be working for him. Weighing just over 254 pounds, Grimes was in great aesthetic shape.

His muscles were full, his skin was tight and he presented his iconic figure. Despite her improvements, Clarida’s definition and musculature were too much to overcome. Still, a silver medal is a solid position for the 28-year-old.

Sergio Oliva Jr.

It was Oliva Jr.’s first appearance since placing sixth at the 2021 Arnold Classic. He’s also improved a lot here compared to his last competition. He and Grimes were in the first and last call alongside Clarida, where they took turns in the middle of the stage, indicating that the judges were considering Oliva Jr. for the title.
