DEA raids Madison Heights pharmacy on suspicion of selling pain relievers for money

DETROIT – A pharmacy at Madison Heights was arrested for illegally selling thousands of controlled substances to people without a prescription, officials said.

“When I hear something like that, it hurts on the inside,” said Dr Annas Aljassem.

Aljassem is a Pain Specialist at Beaumont Health. He was responding to the DEA raid on Great Health Pharmacy and the arrest of the man who officials said was running a dangerous and damaging pill mill.

Yousef Kosho, 43, of Sterling Heights, has been charged with several felonies related to selling people $ 10 thousand of the most addicting opioids for money.
