Fitness athletes can begin their preparations for the Bloem Classic bodybuilding competition which will be held for the first time since 2019.

This competition was a regular event at the Bloem Show before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now bodybuilders will once again have the opportunity to take center stage at the Bloem Show on Friday 6 May.

The Bloem Classic, held on the Coca Cola Stage, will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Hende-Mari Strydom, President of the World Fitness Federation South Africa (WFFSA), invites athletes from across the country to participate.

“Athletes can compete in 23 divisions and prizes are up for grabs,” she says.

Registration will take place from 08:00 to 10:00 on the stage of the exhibition center.

The entry fee is R250 per athlete, with an additional R100 per division. Participation in the denim jeans model and the glamor division costs R250 each.

Athletes must provide their showcase music on a USB key upon registration.

A limited number of VIP tickets will be available at R200.
