Zac Efron ‘didn’t feel alive’ when he stopped training during COVID


Zac Efron has become a mainstay in Hollywood. The musical high school alum successfully transitioned from child star to Emmy-winning actor. But when future historians study Efron, they’ll likely notice his traditional good looks and muscular build. He was thrown into the Baywatch do it again for a reason: he has the perfect beach body. Or at least Efron did before quitting his workout routine during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Zac Efron was everyone’s crush when he appeared in musical high school in 2007. He was cute and talented – so talented that he landed role after role in all sorts of projects. Efron has what it takes for comedy, romance, and everything in between.

With Baywatch, Efron has proven that he has evolved beyond a lovable heartthrob. He was shredded. But his muscular body didn’t come easily. He had to work hard to get into Baywatch form. Efron’s fitness routine included a strict diet – no carbs or sugar. He even tried a vegan diet to get his body in top shape.

Now Efron is trying to relax a bit. He noticed that physical exercise and constant focus on food was detrimental to his mental health. So the actor decided he’d rather be healthy and happy than totally torn up.

The pandemic has had a huge impact on Zac Efron’s lifestyle. That was part of the reason he’d decided to stop focusing so much on his body. During confinement, the Extremely Wicked, Incredibly Evil and Vile the actor had time to reflect on his lifestyle, and he realized that he didn’t like it. This led to a major change in his mindset, which led to a change in his body.

He realized that he didn’t need to practice all the time. Efron has been in the public eye since his teenage years, nearly half of the 34-year-old’s life. For the first time, he didn’t have to obsess over his appearance. Efron has put a stop to his demanding workout routine. But this change has gone too far in the other direction.

“What if I just said ‘F*** it’ and let myself go? So I tried and succeeded,” he told Men’s Health in a recent interview. “And for all the reasons I thought it would be amazing, I was just miserable. My body would not feel healthy; I just didn’t feel alive. I felt bogged down and slow.

Zac Efron has since found balance in his fitness routine. He does not return to his Baywatch diet anytime soon. But the actor is still working to stay healthy – mentally and physically. And it’s still going hard. It’s part of his personality. The greatest showman The actor is used to pushing himself to the limit, so if he doesn’t go all out, he doesn’t feel like himself.

“I like pushing myself and really putting everything together, to the point where I kind of have to. Otherwise, I just don’t feel like myself,” he told Men’s Health.
